About Us... George is a machinist by trade and got his start early working in his father’s business, where his father designed and manufactured nut harvesting equipment in the Central Valley of California. In 1976, George moved his family to the Willamette Valley in Oregon where he was employed in machine shops that worked mainly for the timber industry. In the late 1980’s he was involved with a team of engineers and machinists that developed the in-place carriage rail grinding process. He traveled for this company, doing the rail grinding, until April of 2000, at which time he purchased the rail grinding business and became Acculine Rails.
Those in the highly competitive lumber industry are seeking every advantage to maximize their investments in both timber and equipment. We offer a service that lends assistance in both areas.
